The safety and wellbeing of our visitors, campers and staff is our top priority and we will take all necessary precautions to ensure their continued welfare. We are actively monitoring the situation with regards the outbreak of Covid-19 coronavirus and are reviewing and following the guidelines of the Government and Public Health England.
If you are planning on attending either one of our climbing sessions or sport camps from an area that has been directly affected by the coronavirus AND if you are showing symptoms similar to those associated with the virus (for example: fever, cough, breathlessness), we politely ask that you do not visit and instead call NHS 111 for further advice and instruction.
For further information, please refer and adhere to the advice given by Public Health England.
AK-tivites Ltd is taking all possible steps to minimise the risk of contagion, including the implementation of enhanced cleaning regimes and the placement of additional hand sanitisers at key locations. Antibacterial soap is already available in all our public toilets.
We ask all our visitors to observe high standards of personal hygiene whilst visiting any of our sites.
There are simple things you can do to help prevent the spread of the virus, including:
1. wash your hands with soap and water often – do this for at least 20 seconds
2. always wash your hands when you get home or into work
3. use hand sanitiser gel if soap and water are not available
4. cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your sleeve (not your hands) when you cough or sneeze
put used tissues in the bin straight away and wash your hands afterwards
5. try to avoid close contact with people who are unwell
If you do feel unwell during your time with us, please contact a member of staff immediately – maintaining a safe distance of two meters where possible.
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
