Easter Camps Cancelled

Dear All,

It is with great sadness that I am writing this email.

Following the government’s most recent announcements regarding school closures I am contacting you with an update, further to previous communications posted through our website and blog posts on our WIX app.

We have today been informed by the school where we host our Easter Sports camps (Swavesey Village College) that they will be closing the site down in line with government guidelines. As such we have been instructed to cancel our provision of holiday childcare this coming Easter break.

We are aware of the additional strain this may place on families and as such regret the need for this unavoidable action. Please know that we have done all that we can throughout the course of recent weeks to keep our camps running during a time when we are aware childcare is in high demand, however we are now in position where we can no longer legally, logistically and morally remain open over this period.

We will continue to take bookings for our Summer Sports Camps in the hope that the current situation will stabilise allowing us to once more provide affordable, high quality childcare for children aged 4 to 16 at a time when it may be greatly needed by parents and carers in the local community.

We are a small family run business which operates in partnership with Swavesey Village College providing affordable childcare over the School Holiday periods of Easter and Summer. We have been running for nearly 7 years and with your kind support we hope to continue to provide this service to the local community once these uncertain and challenging times are behind us.

We hope that you and your families stay safe, and really look forward to the brighter days when we can reopen and work hard as a community to get back to normality.
