Cancellations and Refund Policy

Please note that due to the Current Situation we face there have been some changes made to our Cancellations and Refund Policy. This said please read the below information carefully before making any booking.

Standard Cancellations and Refunds Policy:

In a situation where a booking needs to be cancelled due to error, injury, illness or merely are not longer required a full refund will be provided to the customer given that the following procedure is followed:

1. Notice of booking the cancellation is sent by email to Aktivites.ltd@gmail.com within 48hrs of the booking date 'start time' (currently deemed 09:00am)

2. The email sent regarding 'notice of booking cancellation' contains the following information:

Email Titled: Booking Cancellation

Contents including: Booking name, Childs name, Day/s to be cancelled and Reason for cancellation.

Please note, refunds can only be made back to the accounts from which the original payment was made. In the case of payments made by childcare vouchers, all monies will be returned to the childcare voucher provider/account though this can take any where from 5 to 15 days to process. 

COVID-19 Cancellations and Refunds Policy:

Where a confirmed positive case of COVID-19 has been reported, all parents of those children within the 'proven positive COVID-19 case bubble' will be informed via email within 12hrs of the initial confirmed report being received. This contact home will include next steps and further information and guidance recommended by the government and public health England.

Should any child become unable to attend our camps as a direct result of COVID-19 a full refund for those full days not attended beyond 48hrs of the initial report will be issue within a 10-day period. Any camp days missed within 48hrs of the initial reported case preventing attendance will be refunded in the form of a 'like for like' voucher that can be used to secure further camps days at any of our sites within a 3 year period.

In a situation where a booking needs to be cancelled due to the individual/s being identified as within a contaminated 'activity group bubble' and the advised isolation period completed, a full refund will be issued for any and all days missed.

Please note, refunds can only be made back to the accounts from which the original payment was made. In the case of payments made by childcare vouchers, all monies will be returned to the childcare voucher provider/account though this can take any where from 5 to 15 days to process. 

AK-tivites directed Cancellation and Refund Policy:

Where an individual or group of individuals are deemed to be of a danger to themselves or others whilst attending camps, AK-tivies Ltd. reserves the right to cancel such individuals bookings with refund provided for those full days on camps not attended due to any sanction put in place the the AK-tivites Ltd. leadership team.  

In the rare occurrence when a child or children will be required to leave camp or have future bookings cancelled, full disclosure and open conversation with parents will be had before any steps of exclusion are taken.
